Backstage News On Talent Absent From WWE TV

The following is per a new report from Fightful Select.

“Creative is being cooked up” for Kevin Owens with plans moving forward with him. Owens has been not seen on WWE TV. He did not appear on last week’s episode of Raw.

Lacey Evans was pulled from the July 29 episode of SmackDown. During the episode, it was announced that Evans was not cleared to compete, with no further explanation. It is being said that there are currently no immediate creative plans for her. Furthermore it was stated that when Evans returned to WWE it was “chaotic and directionless.” Evans was said to be a personal favorite of Vince McMahon, was very hands-on and that Vince worked directly with her for the brief time that she was on Monday Night Raw.

Fightful Select said they were told that several talents who have not appeared on television or house shows are waiting to learn where they will be at under the new leadership. It was also said several talent have had meetings directly with Triple H about their future in WWE.

We previously reported that Triple H is not expected to stop anytime soon as it pertains to re-signing former WWE talent, and that he is trying to reshape and add more depth to the roster. Several talent were discussed for returns and a “feeling out process” has occurred.

The returns of Dakota Kai, IYO SKY (formerly known as Io Shirai) Karrion Kross and Scarlett came together very quickly.
