According to Fightful Select, Ariya Daivari has signed a full-time contract with AEW.
Daivari has been serving as a producer for AEW. He produced the recent Women’s Division Tag Team Match between Thunder Rosa and Toni Storm, which was well received by many. WWE gave Daivari a trial run as a producer following his release back on June 25, 2021. He was then released three months later. He has also made appearances for NJPW and the NWA.
The report further notes Daivari signing the deal is factored into plans that have are already in motion. He has been appearing regularly on AEW TV, and has formed the a new faction, called the Trustbusters consisting of himself, Slim J, Sonny Kiss, and newly signed Parker Boudreaux, who was formerly known as Harland in WWE NXT.
Fightful Select also notes that ROH play by play announcer Ian Riccaboni is currently under his previous ROH contract that was prior to the sale of the promotion to Tony Khan. It was also said that Riccaboni wants to remain with Tony’s Khan’s ROH in the future.
