Grand Slam episode of AEW Rampage will again be two hours

In an appearance on Wrestling Observer Radio, AEW CEO and President Tony Khan noted that the Grand Slam episode of Rampage will again be two hours.

The AEW Grand Slam episode of Dynamite will again take place at Arthur Ashe Stadium in Queens, New York on Wednesday, September 21. AEW will tape the Grand Slam episode of Rampage later that same night. That episode of Rampage will air September 23 on TNT.

Last year’s AEW Grand Slam was a sell-out with over 20,000 fans in attendance. Tickets are still available for the event.

AEW’s 2021 Grand Slam episode Dynamite was headlined by then-AEW World Champion Kenny Omega in a match against Bryan Danielson which ended in a 30-minute draw. Last year’s Grand Slam Rampage was headlined by CM Punk wrestling his first match on cable TV in over seven years that was against Powerhouse Hobbs.

Last year’s Grand Slam episode of Rampage aired on TNT from 10:00 pm ET to Midnight ET.
