According to Fightful Select, sources that are close to The Young Bucks and Kenny Omega are saying that The Young Bucks went to talk to CM Punk, who said during the All Out media scrum, that if anyone has an issue with him should address it directly with him.
Per the claim from the Bucks/Omega side of things is that The Young Bucks had opened the door and did not kick it open as claimed by the other side. It was also said by Fightful Select that before Matt Jackson could say anything, Punk then began throwing sucker punches at Matt Jackson’s head, as Nick Jackson tried to intervene. Ace Steel then allegedly threw a chair that hit Nick in the eye.
As for Kenny Omega, Fightful Select reports that he was trying to remove CM Punk’s dog Larry from the room because he was barking and “going nuts.” The side for Bucks/Omega also claims that once Omega handed the dog off, he tried to get Steel off of Nick Jackson, and then Steel bit and pulled Omega’s hair.
Both sides reportedly continued shouting at each other and legal threats were said to have been made by Punk. There have also been various reports that AEW Senior Vice President & Chief Legal Officer Megha Parekh saw the fight take place.
Fightful Select did stress in their report that this latest update is only one side of things, and that there is an ongoing investigation that may confirm or contradict the story.
