Triple H took to Twitter to comment on Pat McAfee’s new job with ESPN. McAfee announced on Wednesday that he will be taking a leave of absence from WWE.
McAfee will be joining ESPN’s College GameDay. He said on his show Wednesday that he spoke with WWE management and they suggested it would not be ideal for his health and his family that he covers SmackDown on Friday nights and covers ESPN’s College GameDay on Saturday’s. McAfee also said even thought he will be stepping awayhe is still very much part of the WWE family.
WWE announced in July that he had signed a new multi-year extension with the company.
