News making the rounds on the internet is that Sasha Banks removed her WWE in-ring name from her Twitter account.
Banks had been using @SashaBanksWWE as her handle on Twitter. She is now going by @MercedesVarnado. She also removed Sasha Banks and is now using her real name of Mercedes Varnado.
As of this writing, on her Instagram, she is still using @sashabankswwe as her handle, along with her real name.
Banks and Naomi walked out of the May 16 episode of WWE Raw over feeling disrespected and creative differences. There has been several reports that Naomi and Banks were going to return under Triple H. Other reports said that Banks’ lawyers were working to get her out of her WWE contract. Both Banks and Namoi continue to work outside of WWE, which has included modeling appearances.
