According to a Fightful Select, former ROH Champion Bandido has agreed to terms of a contract with AEW.
There are no details on the terms of the contract as of this writing.
It was noted that before his match against Chris Jericho ended, Bandido had very high interest from WWE. It was further said that WWE made an attempt to get a message to Bandido before his match ended with Chris Jericho on last week’s Dynamite.
Fightful Select further notes Bandido was booked for his AEW debut on short notice, and even had issues getting his ring gear in time for the match. Bandido reportedly had to piece together the gear he wore in his match against Jericho.
Fightful Select concluded by saying several within AEW have spoken highly of Bandido’s demeanor and his attitude as it related to his ring gear issue and being booked to lose in his debut match with the company.
