According to PWInsider Chelsea Green has finished up with IMPACT Wrestling, and is expected to be returning to WWE.
Earlier this month there were rumors making the rounds on the internet that Green would be departing IMPACT Wrestling for WWE. Green had then taken to Twitter to comment on the reports that she loved every minute of the internet keeping her relevant.
PWInsider further reports the following:
-Green reportedly filmed an exit vignette with VXT tag team partner Deonna Purrazzo at the last set of IMPACT Television tapings. It is being said that there has been a lot of talk within certain circles, with some under the belief that Green is headed back to WWE.
-Green’s return to WWE is not official as of this writing. However, there has been further talk that she would not want to give up regular booking with IMPACT unless she was planning on signing with a much larger promotion, which is believed to be WWE.
Green first signed with WWE in October 2018, and worked on the NXT brand until being called up to SmackDown in November 2020. She suffered another wrist injury that night, which forced her push for to be nixed. WWE released her on April 15, 2021 citing budget cuts.
