According to a report by Fightful Select, it was said by several sources that Chris Jericho approached CM Punk, unhappy about the backstage fight and things Punk said during the All Out media scrum.
Fightful Select further notes that Jericho reportedly told Punk that he was a “cancer” to the locker room, and a “detriment to the company.” Fightful’s Sources did not recount Punk’s reply verbatim. However, it was noted that Punk told Jericho it was not any of his business and that he needed to leave.
Jericho helped lead a talent meeting several days following the media scrum altercation. He recently signed a new three-year extension that includes mentoring and coaching talent.
