According to an exclusive report by Variety, John Cena is set to appear on the final SmackDown of 2022, which will air live December 30.
Variety also notes an individual with knowledge of the situation has said that there will be more announcements planned for the episode in the weeks to come. The final 2022 episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown will take place at the Amalie Arena in Tampa, FL.
This will only be Cena’s second appearance in WWE this year. His last appearance was on the June 27 episode of WWE Raw to celebrate his 20th year in the company.
