Matt Riddle to be out of action for “up to six weeks” following attack by Solo Sikoa

During Friday Night’s WWE SmackDown, it was announced Matt Riddle is expected to be out of action for the next “six weeks” after being attacked by Solo Sikoa on this past Monday’s Raw. WWE said Riddle suffered damage to his trachea, among other injuries and is expected to be out of action for “up to six weeks.”

Riddle was brutally assaulted by Solo Sikoa after he and Kevin Owens failed to capture the WWE Undisputed Tag Team Championships from Jimmy and Jey Uso. As part of the attack, Sikoa hit the The Samoan Spike, in honor of his late Uncle, Umaga. Sikola also nailed Riddle with a Running Hip Attack. In addition to the Running Hip Attack, Riddle had a chair wrapped around his head.
