F4WOnline confirmed on Saturday previous reports that Sasha Banks will be appearing at NJPW’s Wrestle Kingdom 17 event on January 4, 2023. It was also noted that while WWE could still sign Banks, NJPW believes Banks will be a free and clear to appear on the show by January 4.
The report also states that the deal will not be through WWE.
Banks has not appeared on WWE television since she and Naomi walked out of the May 16 episode of WWE Raw to creative differences. WWE then stripped Banks and Naomi of the Women’s Tag Team Championships. Both Banks and Naomi are currently listed on the active roster on WWE.com.
Banks is also reuniting with WWE Superstar Bayley on December 14 for a Family Giving Tree charity fundraiser.
