Keiji Muto reveals he really wanted to wrestle a former WWE Champion in his last match

Pro Wrestling NOAH posted to their YouTube channel, a recent interview with Keiji Muto.

Muto said during the interview the promotion tried getting former WWE Champion Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson as his opponent for his final match. However, Muto said his fee was too high, that would have costed Pro Wrestling NOAH “billions of yen”.

Muto also he feels his that his match vs. Tetsuya Naito will be better than the Great Muta vs. Shinsuke Nakamura match. He closed by saying that in his final match under the persona as The Great Muta, he injured both of legs, pulling a muscle and both of his hamstrings. He said that he is in pain and current is unable to walk.

Muto vs. Naito will take place on Tuesday, February 21 at the Tokyo Dome in Japan.
