Roxanne Perez will be defending the NXT Women’s Championship on the Roadblock special that will air on Tuesday, March 7 live on the USA Network.
The title match was set up in a segment at the end of Tuesday night’s show, after Meiko Satomura and NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez’s victory over Katana Chance and Kayden Carter. Satomura grabbed a mic and told Perez that since she did something for her, then she could do something for her as Satomura pointed to the NXT Women’s Title Belt. Perez then said on the mic to Satomura that it would be an honor, as the show then came to a close.
During the segment, Vic Joseph said multiple times that Satomura is now “a roadblock” for Perez.
