WWE officially confirmed their next premium live event planned for Saudi Arabia.
During Monday night’s episode of Raw, a commercial aired for WWE King and Queen of the Ring, set to take place in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia at the Jeddah Superdome, on May 27.
The last King of the Ring tournament finals took place at the Crown Jewel premium live event in Saudi Arabia in October of 2021. At the event Xavier Woods would go on to win against Finn Balor to become the King of the Ring. At the same event, WWE also held the first ever Queen of the Ring tournament finals, with Zelina Vega defeating Doudrop (Piper Niven) to become the first Queen of the Ring.
King and Queen of the Ring is just one day prior to AEW’s Double or Nothing pay-per-view that will be held at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada on May 28.

WWE® TO RETURN TO JEDDAH FOR WWE KING AND QUEEN OF THE RING AT THE JEDDAH SUPERDOME ON SATURDAY, MAY 27
JEDDAH, SAUDI ARABIA and STAMFORD, Conn., March 6, 2023 – The General Entertainment Authority, in cooperation with WWE, has announced that WWE King and Queen Of The Ring will be held at the Jeddah Superdome, the world’s largest pillarless Superdome, on Saturday, May 27, 2023.
WWE King and Queen Of The Ring is happening in Jeddah, alongside a host of additional exciting events happening in Jeddah throughout the year.
This marks the first King Of The Ring Premium Live Event to be held since 2015 and the first crowning of a Queen since the inaugural Queen’s Crown Tournament which took place at WWE Crown Jewel in Riyadh in 2021.
More details on WWE King and Queen Of The Ring will be announced in the coming weeks.
