What FTR is reportedly telling people privately; Backstage news on Stu Grayson’s return

The following is per Fightful Select.

FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) are said to be privately claiming that their current contracts with AEW are up soon. It is unknown if the tag team is planning to re-sign with AEW, or if they are attempting to use this some leverage to negotiate deals with WWE or elsewhere.

FTR made their return at the AEW Revolution PPV back on March 5, attacking The Gunns after their successful World Tag Team Title defense against Jeff Jarrett and Jay Lethal, Danhausen and Orange Cassidy and The Acclaimed.

AEW CEO and President Tony Khan announced this past Thursday that Stu Grayson signed a deal after he left the company last May.

It is being said that Grayson’s return was met with a lot of positivity backstage. He wrestled this past Wednesday on Dynamite. Grayson, Evil Uno, and Hangman Adam Page lost to The Blackpool Combat Club in a six-man tag match on Wednesday night’s Dynamite.

Grayson had initially left AEW after the two sides could not come to terms on a new agreement.
