Shane McMahon made his return to WWE during WrestleMania 39 Night Two.
WWE Hall of Famer Snoop Dogg announced Shane McMahon as the opponent for The Miz. Early in the match, McMahon executed a leapfrog and immediately collapsed to the mat upon landing, holding his left leg.
Snoop Dogg would get in the ring, hit Miz with two right hands, and drop a People’s Elbow to replace McMahon and win the match.
At the WrestleMania Sunday press conference, WWE Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque announced that Shane McMahon tore his quadriceps muscle. Levesque put over Snoop Dogg for thinking on his feet and saving the segment.
