Top star returns to AEW on Wednesday’s Dynamite

Jeff Hardy made his return to AEW during Wednesday’s Dynamite.

Jeff came out to save his brother Matt, Isiah Kassidy, and HOOK from an attack by of The Firm’s Ethan Page, Lee Moriarty, & Big Bill.

Back on February 23, Jeff Hardy’s court case in regarding to his June 2022 was officially closed. Hardy was arrested on June 13, 2022 in Volusia County, Florida. The local authorities charged Jeff with a DUI, driving with a suspended license and violating restrictions placed on a driver’s license. Following Jeff’s arrest, AEW CEO and President Tony Khan suspended Jeff without pay and said he could not return to the company until he successfully completed a substance abuse treatment program.

The court credited Jeff for serving 38 days in jail. He was also on probation for 24 months and fined $4,000, with court costs listed as $586. His driver’s license is suspended for 10 years.

During a recent episode of his The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy podcast, Matt said Jeff stayed in Florida for rehab for 90 days and then followed up with completing outpatient rehab. Matt said Jeff did 170 days of treatment.

Jeff also recently underwent eye surgery. His last match was at the 2022 Double or Nothing PPV.
