For the final home game on June 18 for the Michigan Panthers of the USFL, WWE’s The New Day (BIg E, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods) Big E will host a special WWE Superstars Night at the game which will celebrate football and WWE fans.
The announcement was made in a fun Twitter video that you can watch below:
At the May 13 Panthers home game, Big E served as emcee. It was also kids day and mothers were honored during the game, with Big E handing out roses to all the moms in attendance.
Big E has been out of action due to broken neck, as a result of a botched belly-to-back suplex from Ridge Holland on the floor during a tag team match on the March 11, 2022 episode of WWE SmackDown.
There is still no word on when or if he will return to in-ring action.
The Michigan Panthers will take on the Philadelphia Stars. The game will take place at Ford Field in Detroit, which will also host this year’s SummerSlam on Saturday, August 5.
