Jimmy Jacobs reportedly leaves IMPACT Wrestling, joins AEW as a producer

According to F4WOnline has confirmed that Jimmy Jacobs has left IMPACT Wrestling and has joined AEW as a producer.

We had reported earlier on Wednesday via Fightful Select that Jacobs was seen backstage at the Capital One Arena in Washington, DC – where the show is emanating from.

Jacobs had been a member of the IMPACT Wrestling creative team since 2017. He also had previously been part of the WWE creative team as a writer between 2015 and 2017. Jacobs was fired from WWE after taking pictures with members of The Bullet Club, who did an angle ‘invading’ a WWE Raw event for an episode of ‘Be The Elite’ show on YouTube.

Over the past several months, AEW has been adding to their creative team ahead of the new Collision show, which premieres this Saturday night, live on TNT at 8:00 pm ET. AEW’s Bryan Danielson has confirmed he has recently been working on creative for AEW. Just last month, AEW announced that podcaster Will Washington had joined the company as the Director of Wrestling Administration and also is part of AEW’s creative team.

Jacobs was also an in-ring talent under the Sinclair Broadcast Group owned Ring of Honor.
