Gunther has accepted Matt Riddle’s for the WWE Intercontinental Championship at this Saturday’s Money in the Bank Premium Live Event.
In a WWE Digital Exclusive Monday night, Byron Saxton spoke with Riddle backstage.
Riddle, who has been in a feud with Imperium alongside Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn, challenged Gunther for the Intercontinental Championship at Money in the Bank.
During a backstage segment on Monday night’s Raw, Riddle and Ludwig Kaiser were in a verbal exchange that turned violent. Gunther came in, took out Riddle and accepted his challenge for Money in the Bank.

Money in the Bank will take place this Saturday from the O2 Arena in London, England. The event will air live on Peacock in the United States and WWE Network everywhere else, with a start time of 3:00 pm ET/12:00 pm PT.
