The Judgment Day showed up on the July 11 episode of WWE NXT.
During Tuesday night’s NXT, “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio challenged Wes Lee to a NXT North American Championship Match. Lee was being interviewed by McKenzie Mitchell about his upcoming title defense at The Great American Bash against Mustafa Ali. Dominik and Rhea Ripley then came in and interrupted, with Dominik challenging Lee, by saying that was the “open challenge guy” and that he used to do open challenges for the title. Lee was quick to accept the open challenge.
The title match is now official and will take place on the July 18 episode of NXT, live on the USA Network.
Mustafa Ali will challenge for the North American Championship at the NXT Great American Bash premium live event on Sunday, July 30.
