Japanese wrestling legend will be at this Saturday’s AEW Collision

Japanese wrestling legend and all-time great Jushin “Thunder” Liger will be in Calgary for Saturday’s episode of AEW Collision.

Liger took to Twitter, revealing that he will be in an invited guest for the finals of the Owen Hart Tournament Foundation.

As of this writing, it is not known if Liger will make an actual appearance on the show.

Collision takes place this Saturday, live from the Calgary Stampede Saddledome in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

Translated in English, Ligers’s Tweet is as follows:

“I am at Haneda Airport now. From now on, I will go to Calgary, Canada via San Francisco. I was invited as a guest at Owen Hart’s memorial tournament ☆ I’m looking forward to Calgary after a long time.” 

Owen and Liger wrestled against each other in Japan ten times, splitting the series of matches at five wins a piece.
