As introduced by MJF weeks ago on AEW Dynamite, the “Better Than You Bay Bay” t-shirt has been a major hit in terms of sales.
According to Dave Meltzer in the most recent edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the shirt has now sold more than any other AEW shirt for the current year.
MJF and Cole faced each other in a World Championship eliminator bout in mid-June, which resulted in a time limit draw…before being paired together for the Blind Eliminator tag team tournament.
The reluctant duo found time to bond together as seen in vignettes on Dynamite, as they went on to defeat the teams of The Butcher & Matt Menard, Big Bill & Brian Cage, and Sammy Guevara & Daniel Garcia throughout the course of the tournament.
With the victory comes a chance to win the AEW World Tag Team Championship, as MJF and Cole face FTR on the 7/29 edition of Collision.
