WWE announced via social media that Asuka will defend her WWE Women’s Championship against Bianca Belair and Charlotte Flair at SummerSlam:
This comes after recent title challenges against both Belair and Flair have resulted in chaos and controversy, as Belair once again seeks to regain the title she lost to Asuka at Night of Champions and Flair looks to re-establish her dominance.
SummerSlam emanates from Ford Field in Detroit, Michigan and will air as a Premium Live Event on Peacock and the WWE Network on Saturday, August 5 at 8 p.m. Eastern.
