WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels appeared on Friday night’s episode of WWE SmackDown and he didn’t come alone.
Shawn Michaels attempted to book a NXT North American Championship match between Butch and the newly crowned champion, Dominik Mysterio.
Friday night’s show, which aired this week on FS1 and took place from the Amway Center in Orlando, FL had a number of NXT talent in attendance.
-Jey Uso was shown interacting with Tony D’Angelo, Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo, and The Creed Brothers (Julius & Brutus Creed). It was back on the July 4 taped episode of WWE NXT, that The Creed Brothers lost a loser leaves NXT match against Rip Fowler & Jagger Reid, The Dyad of Schism.
NXT Champion Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams, were shown in the crowd and interacting backstage with Bobby Lashley.
NXT Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton, with the title belt was also shown on TV.
The Cavinder Twins, who signed with WWE as part of the company’s Next in Line program, made a brief appearance, as they were shown sitting in the crowd.
