During Friday night’s SmackDown, WWE announced that a battle royal will take place at SummerSlam.
The SummerSlam Battle Royal will be presented by Slim Jim. It was also revealed that Superstars from Raw and SmackDown will compete in the battle royal.
LA Knight and Sheamus got into a confrontation backstage. Adam Pearce then said that both men will be participants in the battle royal. They will also face each other on next week’s SmackDown, which will be the go-home show for SummerSlam.

The 2023 WWE SummerSlam premium live event will take place on Saturday, August 5 and emanate from Ford Field in Detroit, Michigan. It will stream on Peacock in the United States and WWE Network everywhere else, beginning at 8:00 pm ET.
