According to a report from Fightful Select, there reportedly has been internal discussions within AEW about bringing in WWE Hall of Famer and former ECW Television Champion Rob Van Dam.
Fightful Select also notes that the 52-year-old RVD is being considered for a match against Jack Perry at either All In: London or All Out in Chicago.
During last week’s episode of Dynamite, Perry was involved in a segment with Jerry Lynn, who had a huge rivalry with RVD in ECW.
Perry defeated Hook back on the July 19 Blood and Guts episode of Dynamite to win the FTW Championship.
It was on last week’s Dynamite when Lynn came out and confronted Perry after he cut a promo trashing ECW. Perry and Lynn are scheduled for another face-to-face segment on tonight’s 200th episode of Dynamite.
