As previously reported, former AEW star Jade Cargill was expected to be in attendance at Saturday’s WWE Fastlane PPV and next week’s Raw.
Per PWInsider, Cargill was spotted Friday night in Indianapolis ahead of Saturday’s Fastlane.
WWE did an angle during Friday night’s episode of SmackDown, where Joaquin Wilde and Cruz Del Toro are deemed unable to compete at WWE Fastlane, in the match which was to be the LWO vs. The Street Profits and Bobby Lashley.
PWInsider is reporting they were told by WWE sources that the angle was specifically done to bring Carlito back, as the company has been waiting for a storyline entrance for him after he signed a new deal this past summer.
