WWE unveils championship statue at new Stamford headquarters

An article from the Stamford Advocate has detailed the unveiling of a 7-foot statue of the WWE Championship in front of the company’s new headquarters in the city.

The pre-cast concrete monument had a great deal of progress over the weekend, after the permit had been issued back in November of last year.

The work, created by Concreteworks East with structural engineering by Craft Engineering Studio, will also serve as a bench thanks to a seating surface set up on each side of the centerpiece.

WWE began making plans for this move in 2019, with the pandemic shifting their timetable significantly.
