According to The Kronen Zeitung, which is Austria’s largest newspaper outlet, current WWE Intercontinental Champion Gunther will only be allowed to compete in the United States for the next six-months.
The publication spoke with Gunther during WWE’s tour of Germany. The report notes Gunther is not allowed to leave the United States for the next six-months due to strict residency regulations.
Gunther was born in Austria, but now lives in Orlando, Florida with his wife Jinny who is a former NXT UK Superstar. She announced her retirement this past January, having to call it quits due to concussion issues.
The report also notes this will allow Gunther to spend more time with his wife. He further said that he only got to see her for six-days last month.
