According to Fightful Select, WWE is said to have “heavy interest” in signing Will Ospreay. It was also noted that both WWE and Ospreay have been in contact, with WWE having already made “preliminary overtures” towards Ospreay.
The report also notes that AEW and IMPACT Wrestling are also interested in signing Ospreay, as both promotions have enjoyed working with him in the past.
Ospreay has several options as WWE is still reportedly looking to expand more into Europe with NXT next year. In addition to IMPACT rebranding back to TNA at the start of 2024, the promotion is said to be looking to increase their footprint in Europe as well.
Fightful Select concluded the report by noting that sources from NJPW sources told them that although they would enjoy continuing to work with Ospreay, they do not expect him to have the same type of full-time deal that he has had previously with the promotion.
