Kevin Owens has been “suspended.”
Owens filled in for Corey Graves on commentary during Friday night’s episode of WWE SmackDown, as Graves is away after his wife Carmella gave birth to their son this past Wednesday.
Owens was allowed to do commentary with just one condition. He could not get physical with any of the WWE Superstars part of the commentary team, alongside Michael Cole and Kevin Patrick. Owens did fine all night until Grayson Waller and Austin Theory came down to the commentary table and harassed him. Waller and Theory poured water on him, and also made fun of him.
Owens lost his cool and attacked both Waller and Theory, which gave SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis no choice, but to suspend Owens after the attack on Waller and Theory.
