WWE, Panini exchange settlement proposals, reaching agreement in principle

A new court document reveals that WWE and Panini recently exchanged settlement proposals, reaching an agreement in principle on the lawsuit between them.

In the case, Panini allegedly told WWE in 2022 that they were planning to merge with Fanatics, but the deal fell apart in Spring 2023.

This led to more than 35 employees resigning from Panini, many of whom allegedly worked on WWE-related products.

WWE alleges that Panini ran behind on inventory, while also failing to provide purchase orders and respond to routine requests.

These events led to the deal being terminated on August 25.
