Injury updates on AEW stars following Full Gear

Coming out of Full Gear, reports have indicated that two AEW stars are dealing with injury at the moment.

One is MJF, who mentioned during the media scrum after the PPV that he dislocated his hip during his AEW World Championship match against Jay White.

According to WrestlePurists, the injury appears to have occurred during a spot in which MJF delivered a flying elbow on White, which ended up being a height from the top rope to the floor due to the table collapsing before the spot could be completed.

There are further reports that MJF is dealing with a banged-up shoulder from taking a top rope uranage slam during the match, but the champion is not expected to miss any TV time as of time of writing.

Meanwhile, Juice Robinson has been out with a back injury for some time, according to a report from Fightful Select.

The report states that Robinson will need surgery, and is expected to be out for at least the rest of the year.

An angle took place in the closing moments of the 11/17 edition of AEW Rampage that seemingly wrote Robinson out, following an apparent off-screen attack backstage, which in turn led to Robinson not being on screen or backstage at Full Gear.

Robinson has not competed since November 1, when he teamed with the rest of Bullet Club to take on MJF, The Acclaimed, and Billy Gunn on that night’s edition of Dynamite.
