Earlier on Sunday, Fightful Select reported AEW has been making changes and alterations for the newly designed AEW World Championship Belt. The report also noted the new belt will contain some type of custom side plates. with an alternate version of the AEW logo on the main center plate and side plates and a black painted background used for the AEW logo.
During Saturday’s AEW Worlds End Post-PPV Media Scrum, newly crowned World Champion Samoa Joe noted that he will be getting a new world title belt. Joe then went on to say the new belt will be “the good belt, the right belt, something that’s designed well”, before saying that MJF’s version is which is “going in the garbage”, is a “little knockoff of BS Gucci stuff.”
