According to a report by Fightful Select, several individuals within AEW have been informed about the very soon arrival of Kosha Irby. It is also being said Irby could potentially be given the position of Chief Operating Officer within the company.
Also per the report, Irby was the Regional Director of Live Events for WWE.
In addition, Irby was also the President of the Memphis Express, which was part of the American Football Franchise, Executive Senior Associate Athletic Director and Chief Marketing Officer for the Clemson Tigers.
Fightful further notes that Irby has also provided his wealth of expertise to Georgia State, University of South Florida, and Saint Louis.
The news of this hiring comes after the departures of Rafael Morffi, Dana Massie, and QT Marshall, who all had various roles of importance within the company.
