Sting reportedly has huge say on who is final opponents will be for last match

According to Fightful Select, Sting’s final match at the AEW Revolution pay-per-view is very important to Tony Khan.

The report notes that Khan wants to ensure that Sting gets the spotlight in the correct way. It is also said that Sting has a huge say on who his opponents are, and anything else that he wants leading up to his retirement match March 3 in Greensboro, NC.

Furthermore, it is being said Sting has been very eager on only doing tag team matches, rather than singles matches.

During Wednesday’s night’s Dynamite Homecoming episode, the Young Bucks returned after being out since Full Gear, encountering Sting and Darby Allin in the ring.

Back at the 2022 Forbidden Door PPV, Sting and the Young Bucks had a brief encounter in a trios tag team match.

As of this writing, AEW has not yet officially announced the Young Bucks as the final opponents for Sting.
