Seth Rollins says he ‘dodged a bullet’ with recent injury

In an interview with Daniel Cormier on DC & RC, Seth Rollins talked about the injury he sustained during a match against Jinder Mahal.

Giving an update on his status, Rollins said he ‘dodged a bullet’ due to the ACL being intact, with a hope of being back in action as soon as he can:

“I’m hoping to be back at full strength around a month. Around a month is like kind of my timeline. And we’ll see what happens. We’re gonna take it day-to-day. I’d like to be back in a month. I don’t want to walk into WrestleMania and that be my first match in two months, three months, whatever it is. That’s not going to be good for me.

I want to be able to get back in there, kind of test the wheel out and make sure that we’re in a good place. So we’ll see how it goes, but I’m taking it day-by-day. And I’m happy, like I said, that we dodged a bullet and it wasn’t anything too serious that was going to put me on the shelf for 6-9 months.”

The MCL injury was reported as being a grade two tear, which Rollins said in the interview “will heal with time.”
