Wrestleview is sad to report on Tuesday that country music singer Toby Keith has passed away at age 62.
Keith was battling stomach cancer.
Keith performed on the very first NWA: TNA pay-per-view, held on June 19, 2002 at the Von Braun Civic Center in Huntsville, AL.
His performance was interrupted by Jeff Jarrett during the show. Later in the night, this led to Keith getting physically involved in the ring and costing Jarrett in the battle royal to crown a brand new NWA World Heavyweight Champion.
Keith also appeared as a guest host on the October 25, 2010 episode of WWE Raw.
