WrestleVotes has reported that WWE has shown some interest in a collaboration with Sylvester Stallone for WrestleMania 40.
Among the many iconic roles of Stallone was Rocky Balboa, the titular boxer of the Rocky franchise.
Stallone received Oscar nominations for the role, as well as writing the screenplay of the first film.
While the collaboration’s certainty is uncertain as of time of writing, there is a hope that it goes through given the Rocky connection with the city of Philadelphia.
WrestleMania 40 will take place Saturday, April 6 and Sunday, April 7, emanating from Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
