Real-life pirates caused Elimination Chamber cage to be re-routed to Perth

During WWE’s Elimination Chamber Press Event, Michael Cole stated that due to real-life pirates, it took more than a month for the Cage to arrive in Perth, Australia.

It was further said that the cage was initially supposed to have been shipped through the Suez Canal in Egypt. Instead, WWE had the cage re-routed by a truck to Los Angeles, CA, then sent to Sydney on a ship, followed by the use of a train to get into its final destination of Perth.

Elimination Chamber takes place on Saturday from Optus Stadium in Perth, Australia.

The kickoff show will begin at 4:00 am ET, with the main card starting at 5:00 pm ET.

Elimination Chamber will air live on Peacock in the United States and WWE Network everywhere else.
