WWE has announced that Bull Nakano will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2024, as first reported by ESPN.
Nakano has had a long and storied career dating back to 1983, having competed in Japan, the United States, and around the world.
She is perhaps best known for her feud with Alundra Blayze in the World Wrestling Federation for the Women’s Championship resulting in a series of matches between the two in 1994 and 1995, before the rivalry was revisited in WCW in 1996.
Following her retirement in 2012, Nakano’s last match was in 2017, facing Manami Toyota as part of a special retirement show for the latter.
She has since made sporadic wrestling-related appearances around the world, most recently appearing in the US-based Joshi promotion Sukeban as its acting commissioner.
Among those showing their appreciation for the incoming Hall of Fame inductee is Paul “Triple H” Levesque.
