The tournament to crown new AEW World Tag Team Champions will begin on the March 16 episode of Collision. That episode will take place live on TNT from the Canadian Tire Centre in Ottawa, Ontario.
Tony Khan announced during the Revolution Media Scrum back on March 3 that the belts were vacated following Sting’s last match, after he and Darby Allin had a successful title defense against the Young Bucks at the the PPV.
On Saturday night’s Collision, during an in-ring interview with Tony Schiavone, FTR declared themselves for the tournament. FTR were interrupted by The The Infantry (Carlie Bravo and Shawn Dean), who declared themselves for the tournament.
Also on Saturday night’s Collision after Chris Jericho defeated CMLL star Titan, Gates of Agony entered the ring and attacked Jericho. Hook made the save. Back on the March 6 episode of Dynamite, when Gates of Agony attacked Hook, Jericho made the save.
Jericho and Hook will team up to take on Gates of Agony at the Big Business episode of Dynamite on March 13 at TD Garden in Boston, MA.

-Hook and Chris Jericho vs. Gates of Agony (Bishop Kaun and Toa Liona)
AEW has also announced that Battle of the Belts X will take place live on TNT at 10:00 pm ET, following the live episode of Collision on Saturday, April 13.
Both shows will emanate from the Truist Arena, formerly The Bank of Kentucky Center and BB&T Arena, which is a 10,000-seat multi-purpose arena in Highland Heights, Kentucky on the campus of Northern Kentucky University.
