According to Fightful Select the reason Jon Moxley has been absent from AEW television is due to having planned time off. This is the reason that Moxley and Claudio Castagnoli are not part of the AEW Tag Team Championship Tournament.
Moxley is booked for matches in Mexico next week, in addition to his commitment he has with NJPW.
