According to PWInsider Elite, Erick Rowan has signed a new contract with WWE.
PWInsider did not indicate when Rowan is expected to make his return to the company.
East Coast Pro Wrestling announced on their facebook page last month that Rowan would not make his previously scheduled appearance at Coal Town Carnage, which took place on Saturday, April 20 due to “new contractual obligations.”
Rowan has been a free agent since his release from WWE back in 2020. He has made brief appearances on AEW programming, most notably the tribute show to Brodie Lee that was on December 30, 2020.
