Former WWE Champion reportedly signs new deal with the company

According to Fightful Select, former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins has signed a new deal with WWE. His previous deal was set to expire in June.

It is being said that Rollins signed a lucrative, multi-year contract that will see him remain with the company for “years to come.” He is expected to remain with WWE into his 40’s.

Per Fightful Select, one source specifically said WWE was “not going to let him go,” so signing him to a new deal was considered as inevitable.

Rollins is currently out of action, recovering from knee injury surgery to repair his torn MCL and partially torn meniscus.

He suffered the injury this past January in a title defense against now former WWE Superstar Jinder Mahal. Rollins dropped the title at WrestleMania 40 to Drew McIntyre, who then lost the belt to Damian Priest the same night after Priest cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase.
