Following news of his contract expiring soon, The Wrestling Observer has reported that WWE made “an excellent offer” to Chad Gable to keep him in the company.
Dave Meltzer further stated that AEW has interest in the former WWE Tag Team Champion, with internal discussions about Gable as noted by Fightful.
Despite his current contractual status being up in the air, there has been no indication of Gable departing the company he has been with since 2013, as of this writing.
Gable is set to face Sami Zayn for the WWE Intercontinental Championship at the Clash at the Castle premium live event on Saturday, June 15, emanating from the OVO Hydro in Glasgow, Scotland.
