WWE taped the 12/20 episode of SmackDown on Friday night at the XL Center in Hartford, Connecticut.

-Whatever the outcome will be with Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens tonight at Saturday Night’s Main Event, it appears it won’t be the end of their feud. Owens cut another promo from a car that will air on next week’s SmackDown. Owens and Rhodes ended up brawling to close out the segment.
-The New Bloodline (Solo Sikoa, Jacob Fatu, and Tama Tonga) defeated LA Knight, Andrade and Apollo Crews
-There was a segment with Jimmy Uso attacking Drew McIntyre
-WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Bianca Belair and Naomi (replacing Jade Cargill as of the 12/13 episode) successfully defended the titles against Women’s Champion Nia Jax and Candice LeRae
-WWE Tag Team Champion Johnny Gargano defeated Alex Shelley. Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa have new ring entrance music
-Braun Strowman’s appearance on the Grayson Waller Effect led to a rematch between Strowman and Carmelo Hayes
-Carmelo Hayes defeated Braun Strowman
