Fightful Select is reporting that the publication’s Managing Editor Sean Ross Sapp was told last month that Roxanne Perez, who part of the Women’s Royal Rumble Match on Saturday was expected to be called up from NXT to the main WWE roster, “sooner rather than later.” However, no date has been confirmed at the time of the report.
The report also notes that one source from the main roster told Fightful that based on her performance, she has been seen as ready for quite sometime now.
Perez, 23, who is a former NXT Women’s Champion, now holds the records for the longest time in the Women’s Royal Rumble Match, lasting one hour seven minutes.
Perez will challenge for the NXT Women’s Title in a triple threat match against Bayley and current champion Guilia the NXT Vengeance Day premium live event at the Entertainment and Sports Arena in Washington, DC on February 15.
She was known as Rok-C in the Sinclair owned Ring of Honor and was trained by WWE Hall of Famer Booker T. She signed a developmental deal with WWE back in 2022.
